Hmm. I guess Harper has to play to his base, but I think it would be difficult to find anyone who thinks it's worthwhile re-opening a settled debate. Notwithstanding, reversing seemingly positive moves by the Liberals has been a trend in Stephen Harper's prime ministership. He's gone against fiscal prudence, he's ruining Canada's international reputation, and now he's trying to infringe human rights. I must say, the guy is a formidable politician, but his policies are quite out of touch. Another reason to like Dion.
