ROM or right?

The ROM opens soon, and people have already written it off.

This article pretty much expresses my major criticism of Toronto since I moved here four years ago. People are so quick to dismiss innovation and complain needlessly. Personally, I don't mind the additions to the ROM. It'll be great to have other significant Toronto landmarks like the upgraded ROM and AGO. At least we'll have something better to represent the city than the atrocious CN tower. I like to compare the tower to Toronto trying to confirm its status as a world class city by having large genitalia in comparison to other structures such as the Eiffel Tower and even the Empire State building. Well in terms of Landmarks, size isn't always supreme. It's at least somewhat comforting to see Toronto motioning in the right direction in terms of the asthetics of it's new structures. Now time to do something about that outdated City Hall.
