That's the line that came from Don Newman's show with a rep from Democracy watch on. He was countering claim that Democracy watch pretty much cleared them of doing anything that the other parties aren't doing (or something like that). Clearly someone in Pedro's staff needs to buck up.
The more important issue, however, is that this is typical Tory behaviour. Anyone can admit they ran a pretty good campaign last election, and they've been pretty agressive at trying to control the political agenda. One thing they forgot: they're the government! You, by default, have control of the agenda so as long as you, um, govern.
Well they haven't been governing. They've been playing politics, perhaps a bit too much. Maybe they were too used to opposition. Unfortunately for them, they lived by politics...
