I don't know what to think of this

This is not a good situation for many reasons. It's not good for the Liberal party to have these kind of racial tensions bubbling, and this is definitely not good for Canada or Canadian politics. One of my critiques of Canada is that our multicultural mosaic is a bunch of disjointed ethnic cleavages. Unfortunately, I don't really know what's the solution because there are equal or greater problems in becoming a melting pot. Nevertheless, we need to really invest time and effort into creating links as Canadians.
